Along with Massage Therapy, Cindy has also been trained as a Labour Support Provider/Doula. She has attended both home & hospital births under the care of Midwives & Obstetricians. Massage Therapy during the postpartum time frame is also a vital component of her work.
Massage Therapy & Education are two of Cindy’s great loves, and she has successfully woven both into her professional life.
Cindy provides individual and group classes in Baby Massage – she has taught hundreds of families from newborn onwards, including with families whose babies/children have medical/pediatric needs. Cindy has taught Infant Massage to parents connected to Public Health/Well-Baby Programs & to families whose babies are in Level III Neonatal Intensive Care settings.
Cindy also provides individual & group workshops for the Partners of Pregnant People. These sessions are usually 2 hours long, with a goal to teach the partner techniques that will ease the physical discomforts of pregnancy & to help them provide effective support and care during the birthing process.
